Data & accuracy
What this site is built from, what was checked, and what has not been proven.
Sources
- Breeding table: PalCalc (MIT licence), pinned commit 66f18a0, 299 species and 44,850 parent pairs.
- Breeding power and fixed special pairs cross-checked with the free dataset at palworldonline.net (game version 1.0).
Checks that passed
- Every one of the 44,850 parent pairs has a result, and every species bred with itself returns itself.
- All 299 breeding power values match palworldonline.net.
- 161 of 162 fixed special pairs from palworldonline.net give the same child here (the one exception involves Astralym, which is not in the data).
- The final table was compared with a separate public pair table of 44,485 pairs: 44,483 agree. The one difference involves Panthalus, which this site hides because it cannot enter a Breeding Farm.
Tie-break rule
When two Pals are equally close to the target breeding power (6,787 parent pairs, about 15% of all), PalCalc picks the higher-power Pal. The game’s own data table (build 24181527) lists Pals in a fixed order, and a separate public table picks the Pal listed first in all 181 tie situations. This site follows that order. It is consistent across all of those sources, but it has not been confirmed by hatching eggs in game.
Not verified
- The exact Steam build of the data is not declared by the sources, so this site does not claim a specific build.
- Panthalus is hidden from the calculator because it cannot enter a Breeding Farm. Astralym (a boss that cannot be caught) is not in the data.
- Mutations, passive skills, stats and gender stock are not modelled.
